Talk:CP1610
From IntelliWiki
One interesting aside on the CP1610 signals left unconnected: Since the CP1610's socketed on many/most Intellivisions, it'd be easy to build a daughtercard that broke out the CP1610 and allowed using signals like STPST, TCI, etc. to build a debug environment. I guess that's the value behind documenting all these signals? --Mr z 16:42, 11 Jan 2005 (EST)
Do you think it's worth scanning some of the datasheets I've acquired? Also, I have an old product guide that describes the GIMINI 8900 system that the Intellivision was based on. People might find scans of that interesting also. I got them from a coworker who was on the TMS9918A VDP design team. (They were doing competitive analysis, ya see...) --Mr z 01:45, 18 Jan 2005 (EST)
I've verified the BUSAK/BUSRQ display glitches replicate the old row and push the screen down. I actually wrote a test case where I put non-interruptible instructions in just the right spot to force the same line to repeat an abitrary number of times, or to force an arbitrary line to repeat. --Mr z 19:23, 24 Jan 2005 (EST)
